Aston Martin|Newspaper Tech|Portland

|I saw an Aston Martin a few days ago on Amnicola Highway and I almost died. I swerved into oncoming traffic but then, calmly, cried out, “Go-go gadget tablesaw!” and a huge saw came down and ripped through the earth so I was able to fall into a giant crevasse, land in an underwater river of molten lava, and float my way to Chatt St. and subsequent class. Whew. Alright, to be completely honest, all of that is false. Except for the lava part. When I saw the car it was awesome, I think I’ve only seen one other AM in my life. I loves me some Aston Martins and their $250,000 goodness.

|Work with the Communicator, Chattanooga State’s student newspaper is going better than ever. We switched to a new layout program for the basic design of the paper so it’s going to be looking fresh when the next issue comes out and what’s even better is, next month we’re going from six pages to eight, and from two color pages to four. This stuff just doesn’t happen and it’s the first time the paper is upgrading in a while. It’s going to look veryy niice. (Borat style) Some more good news from the job, my laptop is finally being ordered. So hopefully I will have that by March and we also ordered two digital handheld sound recorders with USB hook-up, for podcasting, and we’re getting two Sony Handycams so we can record news stories as they happen and post them to our website, which is something that doesn’t happen often either but we’re going to make it happen! Muahahahah!

|Last thing, in regards to newspaper action, I’ll most likely be going to Portland, Oregon for three days in March to that National College Newspaper Convention. It’s pretty intense stuff and Portland is apparently sweet neck-tie. (Nectar/Neck-tie.. you understand the progression.) Anyways, I have changed the design of my blog once again and made it into a weekly thing, that way I don’t have to stress about writing about something. I’ll have the whole week to develop my life into a few paragraphs of electronica! Inevitably and in any case, Davis out!
